- We'll explore simplifying a vibrant street scene, maintaining the key elements: a cat and a bicycle. We'll focus on capturing the essence with broad strokes and tonal values, learning to identify and paint the big shapes that convey the narrative.

«Dynamic Waterscape» — Andy Evansen
- We’ll tackle a waterfall scene, starting from tonal value to a full painting. Learn the dry brush technique for rocks and dynamic water portrayal, and create the falling water effect with strategic dark rock placement.

«Snow-kissed landscape» — Michal Jasiewicz
- learn how to effectively use light and shadow to create depth and realism in winter landscapes

- Discover Ian McManus’s method to simplify visual chaos and Paint a full expressive street scene in one sitting using the “alla prima” technique – bold, wet, and direct.
Meet your instructors
Andy Evansen
- Andy Evansen began painting watercolors in the mid-1990s as a change of pace from his career as a medical illustrator
- He is a Signature Member of AWS, PAPA, RRWS, TWSA
- He became a Signature Member of the prestigious Plein Air Painters of America (PAPA) in 2012 and served as their President from 2015-2017
- Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA), Signature Member April 2018
- Salmagundi Club, Artist Member 2017
- His paintings have won numerous awards, including the Bronze and High Winds Medals from the American Watercolor Society
Michał Jasiewicz
- Professional architect and passionate watercolor artist
- Michał is often invited to run painting workshops and live watercolor painting sessions both in Poland and abroad
- Many of his works are located In European, Chinese and American collections
- Michał is known for his semi-realistic, semi-poetic vision of the world, inspired by natural and urban landscapes. He draws inspiration from both historical and contemporary artists.
Ian McManus
- Acclaimed British watercolorist with 30+ years of teaching experience
- Member of the Institute of East Anglian Artists (IEA)
- Renowned for turning chaotic street views into bold, expressive compositions
- Teaches popular in-person and online workshops across the UK and Europe
- Creator of the DVD "One Hour Watercolors" – focused on fresh, confident, fast painting
- Multiple solo exhibitions across the UK
- Known for his unique ability to simplify architecture, cars, and figures while maintaining visual power
