Course by Terrilynn Dubreuil

Seashore Expedition in Watercolor

Gain confidence in your techniques, from brushwork to color balance, and create 3 artworks under the guidance of a seasoned instructor with 35 years of teaching experience.

5 hours of HD video • 3 paintings • Subtitles in 6 languages • Lifetime access

Are you in the beginning of your watercolor story? Or maybe you already have some painting experience and want to fill in the knowledge gaps to paint more loosely, professionally, and independently? If so, this course is what you need!

Terrilynn Dubreuil is a great artist and super experienced instructor who’s been teaching art for 35 years, working with multiple media and levels! She will help you master the basics – quite simple, yet vital components of each artwork you create.

You will learn to mix clean and saturated colors, feel how much water and paint you need to use in every single case, learn to create impressive textures, and find answers to a question we all face – when to use what techniques! Join the course, create 3 paintings with Terrilynn, and make a huge progress after several lessons!

You put paint on paper and the water does what it wants. You need to learn how paper wetness works and how to control it at every stage

You reach for more tubes, add more pigment, and the color goes dead. You need to learn how a limited palette produces cleaner results than a full one

Your paintings look flat. Rocks look like sky, water looks like sand. You need a toolbox of techniques and the judgment to know which one fits which subject

You buy supplies without understanding how they affect the result. Paper buckles, brushes fight you, pigments behave in ways you did not expect

You start with the brush and figure it out as you go. The composition wanders, the values get lost, the painting falls apart halfway through

3 paintings. 5 hours

Start with one question: how wet is the paper right now? Then choose your technique to match.
