This lesson involves the artist demonstrating the creation of a nocturne, a night scene painting, inspired by a photo taken during an evening drive through Budapest. The main focus is on capturing the dynamic and realistic feel of the cityscape, integrating the elements of street traffic into an impressionistic painting.

Which materials do you need for the course?
- Watercolor Paints: A selection of high-quality watercolors, including various shades of blue (cobalt, ultramarine), yellows, and warm tones for illuminated areas.
- Brushes: A range of brushes, including a large hake brush for broad strokes and smaller, finer brushes for detailed work.
- Watercolor Paper: Preferably cold-pressed, high-quality paper suitable for watercolor painting.
- Palette: For mixing colors.
- Water Containers: For rinsing brushes and diluting paints.
- Pencils: For initial sketching.
- Eraser: Preferably a kneaded eraser for gentle corrections.
- Masking Tape: To secure the paper and create clean edges.
