The Fascinating Look. Part 1
In this lesson you will study the structure of a cat's face, learn how to correctly depict ears, eyes and nose, choose a winning composition, make a detailed pencil drawing and select colors for future work.
Lesson 3
The Fascinating Look. Part 2
In this class, you will learn the intricacies of working in raw watercolor using glass and wet paper, and you will learn how to convey the attentive gaze and sparkle of the eyes in a portrait.
Lesson 4
On the lodge. Part 1
Learn to create a realistic sketch of a cat and most accurately convey the natural pose and character of the animal, make a detailed pencil drawing and select colors for future work.
Lesson 5
On the lodge. Part 2
Learn to paint fur, not depicting each hair separately, but creating an overall impression of fur with light strokes, and paint a portrait of a cat in several layers, step by step creating the mood of the painting, the shape and volume of the animal.
Lesson 6
A spotted cat. Part 1
Learn to see the form, its features and transfer these observations to paper with great accuracy and with the correct size ratio, make a detailed pencil drawing of a full-length cat and select colors for future work.
Lesson 7
A spotted cat. Part 2
Learn to work with mixing to get bright, clean and transparent colors using a limited palette, learn how to transfer white in watercolor so it doesn't lose its delicacy and painterliness, and practice blending a cat into the background.

- Olga is a practicing artist specializing in drawing, watercolor, and acrylic.
- After graduating from the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Olga has been working as an architect in St Petersburg and has founded a school of aesthetic education for children.
- Olga came to Sweden in 1993, she is self-employed and manages art courses in Karlstad and all over Sweden (online).
- Olga participated in national and international exhibitions and competitions such as IWS Fabriano Acquarello (2019, 2022), IWS Bulgaria (2019), and IWS Malaysia (2021).

What materials do you need for the course?
- Watercolor paper with a density of 300 gr;
- 1 sheet of state A4 for color trial;
- Watercolor paints in cuvettes or tubes;
- Palette with reservoirs and flat part;
- Work tablet with moisture resistant and smooth surface;
- Medical gauze;
- Masking fluid for watercolor;
- Pencil for drawing with a softness of 2B;
- A blotter, for brightening the pencil drawing and erasing lines;
- White paper towels and a water container;
- An apron and painter's tape.
