Lesson 1

Introduction

Organizational information, how to use the platform. The list of materials needed for the course.

Lesson 2

Proportions of the figure

You will learn to make vertical and horizontal axes, deal with proportions, create stability and movement of figures.

Lesson 3

Sketching groups of figures with a brush

In this lesson, you will learn to work with merging shapes and overlapping figures, build a scene without a pencil drawing, and paint shapes in the light and in the shadow.

Lesson 4

Sunbathing in Portofino

Here you will learn to use the wet-in-wet approach, make a duochrome color scheme, save highlights, and apply different brushes.

Lesson 5

Espresso, please!

Now you will learn to paint warm and cool light, make sharp highlights, depict backlit figures, create a strong focal point, and work with merged shapes.

Lesson 6

The magic of cooking

In this lesson, you will learn to paint diffused light, overlapping figures, and negative shapes, keeping the focal point clear.

Lesson 7

Morning drama

Here you will practice Alla Prima technique, learn to separate light and shadow, connect shapes, and add accents.

Lesson 8

The last day of summer

In the lesson, you will learn to make a balanced composition, save big white shapes, use masking fluid for ornament of the balcony, and create contrast lighting and transparent shadows.

Lesson 9

Conclusion

Summing up, getting feedback, and doing a creative task using the techniques and knowledge acquired.
