Mastering Realistic Landscapes: Guided Program from Basics to Advanced
Dive into realistic painting with Jessica! Learn not just the how, but the why behind each detail, color, and perspective, moving seamlessly from fundamental concepts to advanced techniques. Create your own portfolio of 4 landscapes!
LIFETIME ACCESS |
“The more years I paint and teach, the more I find that most decisions are best made while planning, long before putting paint to paper.”
Jessica L Bryant
Step into the world of realistic landscape painting with Jessica, through a guided program that brings you 10h of detailed video lessons and 4 insightful Zoom sessions with her and a professional artist curator. You'll navigate through foundational techniques that include observing skills, water control, value identification, color mixing, managing edge quality, and employing perspective and detail in your painting approaches.
Jessica doesn't just show, she shares - explaining her thought process and helping you understand the 'why' behind each choice, from subject selection to every brush stroke. But this is not just a course—it's a multifaceted learning experience combining recorded lessons, live interactions, and written feedback on your painting projects, creating a portfolio of 8 paintings!
The program wraps with a graduation party and an exhibition, offering a vibrant finale where your creations shine and compete, showcasing your transformation into a skillful landscape painter in watercolors.
This program will suit artists with any level of watercolor painting skills:
- beginners who want to master the foundational concepts of watercolor painting – observation, water control, accurate value, color mixing, edge quality, sense of perspective, and illusion of detail;
- intermediate artists who would like to practice various painting techniques, from wet into wet to dry on dry, refine their skills, and learn to choose the most suitable approaches and reference photos;
- advanced artists who are looking to practice and reaffirm a focus on value and paint application, as well as train to prepare a painting strategy in advance.
Jessica about the program...
“My hope is to cultivate a different mindset when approaching your subject in painting, altering how you perceive your objectives and enhancing your ability to see.”
Do you find yourself facing any of these challenges?
- Self doubt and lack of confidence
Don't know where to start painting
- Lack of understanding of how to work with references
- Focusing on color more than value
- Longing for a sense of freedom but instead feeling stressed about “getting it right”
- Difficulties in how to truly perceive and faithfully translate what you see
If so, you are not alone! And we have a solution.
In the program, we use our methodology, a combination of recorded lessons and live Zoom sessions with an artist and professional curators, which enhances the learning process and guarantees success!

Author's method
«It's really important to me to help the student feel supported and valued. We are all capable of painting, but too often the student's own self doubt prevents them from doing the practice that will, over time, yield the results. Everything we create has merit to it - something that went well.
It's good to strive to improve, but it's also important to recognize what we can already do. I encourage my students to step back from their work, and try to look at it as if it were not theirs. To try to see its value, what went well, what they can be proud of. There is always something.»
