Module 1. Mastering Pigments: Understanding Color Mixing, Transparency, and Palette Organization

In this module, you will learn how to arrange pigments logically in a palette based on color order (reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues). You will be able to understand pigment properties and see how to use this knowledge when mixing colors. 


You will also learn how color complements help in creating color contrast and vibrancy in paintings, as well as how to make beautiful greys, use opaque pigments, and create granulation.

Module 2. Spring Awakening

In this module, you will see how to create a color palette that captures the essence of spring. You will master techniques for using washes and layering to depict the freshness of spring, as well as understand the symbolism of spring colors and their emotional impact.


As a result, you will be able to paint vibrant and fresh spring scenes with a soft, harmonious color palette, mastering how to depict the renewal and lightness of the season.

In this module, you will learn how to create a palette of warm reds, oranges, and browns characteristic of autumn. You will master techniques for depicting softer, warmer light and its emotional implications and gain skills for capturing the feeling of transition in nature.


With Prasad’s help, you will develop an understanding of how to balance warm and cool colors to convey the richness and depth of autumn landscapes.

Module 5. Winter Serenity

Here, you will develop a winter palette featuring cool blues, whites, and greys. You will discover techniques for creating textures that evoke the chill and stillness of winter and gain skills for portraying quietude and serenity through color choices.

  • Through this course Prasad had the opportunity to meet Prince Charles, and they discussed their shared interest in watercolor
  • Prasad also won the Ciclitira Prize, through which his works will be hung in the prestigious Saatchi Gallery
