NEW EXCLUSIVE ONLINE COURSE

by British Master IAN MCMANUS

Dynamic Street Scenes In Watercolor

Learn how to simplify any complex scene into structure and tone — with unique

Ian McManus’s trusted method — and paint 3 atmospheric artworks in a confident, expressive style.

                    LIFETIME ACCESS

Urban scenes can feel overwhelming – with their bustling figures, shifting light, and tangled architecture. But under the guidance of Ian McManus, a master watercolorist and celebrated British teacher with over 30 years of experience, you'll learn to cut through the chaos with clarity and confidence.

Ian doesn’t teach rules – he teaches you how to see. His unique approach is rooted in simplification: breaking down complex subjects into tone, structure, and rhythm. His sharp, logical, and inspiring teaching style helps you move beyond technique and into expression – giving your paintings energy, purpose, and atmosphere.

At this course, you'll complete 3 dynamic street scenes, starting with a tonal sketch to grasp the essentials of composition, then moving into two full watercolor paintings: one glowing with sunlight and shadow, the other rich with reflections from a rainy day. These scenes come alive with figures, vehicles, and the subtle cues of daily life – each one painted in a direct, loose style that’s as bold as it is refined.
