Mini-course Table of Contents
4 lessons (total 2.7 h)
Lesson 1
Pencil drawing
In this lesson, we will make a drawing, apply masking fluid, and prepare materials for the future painting.
Lesson 2
Leaves and grass. Part 1
We will start with watercolor and make a light color layer. During this lesson, we will see how to create an impression of details, depict leaves and grass with mostly yellow color, and paint lush greenery.
Lesson 3
Leaves and grass. Part 2
We will continue working on leaves and grass and create contrasts by applying darker colors. We will see the whole range of green shades, paint trees, and learn much about tonal values.
Lesson 4
Reflections in the river
We will take the last step to complete our scene and paint a river. We will make realistic ripples and reflections and mix a lot of colors to create an impression of deep sparkling water.
