In this module, you will see what subject treatment is and why it is so important. You will understand how subject treatment will enable you to create your own paintings, why and how subject treatment moves you from copying photos to making art.

In this lesson, you will paint monochromatic boats, focusing on shapes and tonal values. You will see how to render the subject according to your creative goals.
Boats. Adding Colors
In this lesson, you will create a certain mood in an artwork by adding colors to your artwork, taking into account tonal values, shapes, and composition.
Module 4: Composition

In this lesson, you will create a simple still life, exploring the fundamental compositional rules and paying attention to the harmony of subjects in a painting.
Still Life with a Window
In this lesson, you will paint a more complex still life. You will see how the source of light influences the composition and understand how to make your composition striking.
Module 5: Brushwork
In this module, you will learn to use brushstrokes to create energy and personality, see how to use brushstrokes to create visibility, and improve your brushstrokes with a fun and easy exercise.

- Olga is a practicing artist interested in the medium of watercolor and acrylic.
- After graduating from the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering she has been working as an architect in St Petersburg and has founded a school of aesthetic education for children.
- Olga came to Sweden in 1993, she is a self employed, manages an art courses in Karlstad and all over Sweden (online).
- Olga participated in national and international exhibitions and competitions such as IWS Fabriano Acquarello (2019, 2022), IWS Bulgaria (2019) , IWS Malajsia (2021).
