Preparation and exercise
A very important lesson that will help you understand the structure and shape of water. Here we will learn how to paint water, to make it dynamic and deep.
Lesson 3
Fountain with calm water. Pencil part
We will make a pencil drawing for a future painting and practice applying the rules of the linear and aerial perspective in composition.
Lesson 4
Fountain with calm water. Watercolor part
We'll take a look at the aerial perspective on water. We'll learn how to paint water without waves, make reflections, and add vegetation to water.
Lesson 5
River and boat. Pencil part
We will make a pencil drawing for a future painting and practice applying the rules of the linear and aerial perspective in composition.
Lesson 6
River and boat. Watercolor part
We will plunge into the atmosphere of a European city. Learn how to simplify background buildings and vegetation, paint water with waves and dynamics from a boat, and add watercolor effects.
Lesson 7
Сomplex architecture, bridge and canal. Pencil part
We will make a pencil drawing for a future painting and practice applying the rules of the linear and aerial perspective in composition.

You will learn how to simplify architecture, combine the parts of the cityscape, and remove unnecessary details.

Water at sunset with stones underwater. Pencil part
We will make a pencil drawing for a future painting and practice applying the rules of the linear and aerial perspective in composition.

Water at sunset with stones underwater. Watercolor part
We will analyze how to paint complex water with big waves and changes in color and tone. Anastasia will show you how you can change the reference and add rocks underwater.

Prasad Beaven

- Prasad is a practicing artist mainly interested in the medium of watercolor and ink.
- His childhood spent in the foothills of the Himalayas has made a big impression on his character and interests.
- A recent graduate of the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.
- He was exposed to a range of art forms and cultures including Indian Miniature, Persian painting, Geometry, Icon painting, and Chinese Landscape painting.
- Through this course, Prasad had the opportunity to meet Prince Charles where they discussed their shared interest in watercolor.
- Prasad also won the Ciclitira Prize, through which his works will be hung in the prestigious Saatchi Gallery.
